Payroll & AR Specialist for HQ, Atlanta

This position will support compiling and posting of payroll data and support the payroll process to ensure all consultants are paid timely and accurately. This person is also responsible for providing customer service to field staff and consultants while assisting with the payroll process. In addition, this position will support the billing, collection, and accounts receivable tactical daily tasks.

 

Payroll & Accounts Receivables:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of timesheet data and benefits data into the company’s payroll system on a weekly basis.

  • Maintain a reconciliation of hours received from various sources as compared to hours processed in our payroll system.

  • Review payroll data for accuracy, employee record changes, and critical data fields.

  • Save finalized weekly payroll reports on SharePoint folders.

  • Activate new payroll profiles and assist employees with electronic payment issues.

  • Assist employees with payroll inquiries and necessary changes.

  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, local tax, and wage laws.

  • Support the review of tax filings for 940, 941s and year end items (w2)

  • Support the set up new business and tax accounts with different states that the company engage work in.

  • Carry out multistate wage and hour guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local, state, federal laws and guidelines

  • Work with payroll provider to streamline payroll processes.

  • Input payroll data and prepare customer invoices.

  • Perform collections activities.

  • Complete accounts receivable daily tasks.

  • Any related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • College Graduate with relevant course studies.

  • 1-2 years of relevant or non-relevant work experience.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while safeguarding sensitive information.

  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook/Excel/Word), Specifically MS Excel)

  • Ability to learn and perform tasks in new systems/technology.

  • Capable of handling deadlines and pressure with ease while identifying high priority tasks

  • Ability to foster a team environment while maintaining positive demeanor

  • High level of organizational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Strong attention to details.

  • Resourceful, comfortable working with minimal direction

  • Self-Starter
