I.K. Hofmann USA has an opportunity available working with a large health system in Atlanta as a Equipment Management Technician.


As an Equipment Management Technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation by managing the availability of equipment and supplies. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Areas of Responsibility:

1.    Stocking and Restocking:

•    Maintain inventory levels by stocking and restocking Grady Health System carts, med/supply rooms, and other identified areas.

•    Regularly assess and reorder supplies to ensure adequate availability.

2.    Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance:

•    Adhere to safety standards while cleaning equipment to maintain a hygienic and safe environment.

•    Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.

3.    Inventory Management:

•    Manage inventory and PAR levels of general-use equipment.

•    Monitor and report any discrepancies or shortages.

4.    Equipment Delivery:

•    Ensure timely delivery of equipment as per requests.

•    Verify that delivered equipment is in full operating capacity.

5.    Sanitization and Redistribution:

•    Implement sanitization protocols for pumps and equipment.

•    Facilitate the redistribution of sanitized equipment as needed.

6.    Supply Replenishment for Mobile Carts:

•    Ensure timely replenishment of supplies for Grady Health System's mobile carts.

7.    Daily Rounding:

•    Assess equipment and supply needs of Grady Health System staff through regular daily rounding.

•    Address any immediate requirements or concerns identified during rounding.


QUALIFICATIONS

•    High school diploma or GED.

•    Preferred prior experience in healthcare.

•    Proficiency in supply stocking, equipment cleaning, ordering, and basic equipment maintenance.


Essential Functions

 *   Work 10-12 hour shift any day of the week

 *   Stand, move, bend at a fast pace up to 10-12 hours daily.

 *   Must be able to lift up to 25Ibs with or without reasonable accommodation
