Junior Buyer

This entry-level role is pivotal in managing the procurement of materials and services in line with corporate standards to enhance the company's performance and cost-effectiveness. The Buyer I will engage in detailed market research, develop supplier strategies, and negotiate contracts to optimize total ownership costs. Effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders such as IT, accounting, and quality departments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure specialized materials and services necessary for automotive production.
• Address order-related issues like pricing discrepancies and delivery.
• Manage vendor relations and pursue new sourcing opportunities.
• Analyze purchase requisitions and ensure timely procurement.
• Handle receipt and invoice processes for acquired items.

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, capable of negotiating and resolving conflicts independently.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  
  Work Conditions:
• Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; occasional off-hours and weekend work may be required.
• Regular exposure to mechanical parts, with potential for noise, fumes, or particles

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or Supply Chain.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Procurement or a related field in a manufacturing setting.
