The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of the production process. This role ensures all parts and assemblies meet internal and customer quality standards and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on in-process, received, first article, and finished products.
- Utilize appropriate inspection tools and processes to verify conformance to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings in both metric and imperial units.
- Evaluate non-conforming parts to determine potential for rework or salvage; recommend necessary changes.
- Approve final quality of finished products prior to shipment.
- Document measurement results from machining and inspection operations.
- Generate and maintain quality reports for both internal records and customer requirements.
- Support production by assisting with deburring and light assembly tasks as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Solid understanding of inspection and measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a team-oriented and positive attitude.

- This position operates on tools, objects, and controls as necessary
- Must be able to move up to 15lbs
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality control or inspection role preferred.
