Position: Inventory Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour, Friday-Sunday 3pm-11:30pm (Part-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate supply levels in all areas serviced by Supply Chain Operations, including stocking, restocking, and rotating inventory.
  • Pick and stage supply orders for delivery to designated departments throughout the facility.
  • Deliver supplies to various units, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
  • Perform daily par level checks and replenish supplies to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain and restock code carts and respiratory boxes, ensuring emergency readiness.
  • Accurately document inventory usage and report supply shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to coordinate supply needs.
  • Support a clean and orderly storage environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal clients and end-users.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in a related position, preferably in a healthcare environment managing multiple types of supplies.
  • Experience with Materials Management systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn various hospital areas and supply types.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering extraordinary customer service.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information with employees, supervisors, and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to remain stationary and/or move at a fast pace for up to 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to move, transport, and position up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Environment:

  • Frequently works indoors but may occasionally travel to different areas or buildings within the facility.
  • Regularly exposed to equipment, carts, and other supply handling tools.
  • May occasionally be exposed to cleaning solvents or other contaminants.
  • Sometimes exposed to distracting noise levels and may work in bright or dim lighting.
  • Workspaces may not always be temperature-controlled, requiring adaptation to varying conditions.
  • Works near others and often shares the same workspace.
