Warehouse Associate

I.K. Hofmann is hiring Warehouse Associate for our client in Greenville, SC. This is a temp to hire job opportunity. 

You will train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd shift once your training is complete. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, containers, by hand or using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment.

•    Sort materials before loading and unloading.

•    Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

•    Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.

•    Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

•    Frequently positioning of oneself to perform work tasks

•    Must be able to operate the manipulation of tools, objects and controls is necessary

•    Move up to 40 pounds repeatedly

•    Ability to work in different climates, such as extreme hot/humid or cold, for an entire shift.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  

•    High School Diploma or GED

•    Material Handling experience

•    Steel-toe shoes
