Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

- Preparation of individual and corporate tax returns

- Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns, monthly or quarterly

- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc

- Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client engagement, identification or problems, tax law and computer model analysis and helping clients determine optimal strategies

- Maintain quality client relationships

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

- Have a CPA or be CPA eligible

- 2+ years in public accounting

- Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State, and Local tax codes and regulations

- Knowledge of basic software packages

- Experience with UltraTax & QuickBooks a plus

- Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients
