Process Support Team Manager - Logistics

We're seeking a leader to spearhead our client's Process Support team, focusing on enhancing efficiencies and controls across multiple areas such as cost forecasting, business process development, centralized data maintenance, inventory management, and reporting related to External Logistics and Processing Services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and steel processing

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics and Reporting Tools

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management activities including Logistics, External Steel Processing, and Warehousing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent cross-functional communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred:

• SAP experience strongly preferred

• Steel industry experience preferred

• Experience leading teams in process support and improvement activities

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic

• Ability to tackle challenges with urgency and enthusiasm

• Proficient in process design, system/automation, and organizational skills

• Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Duties:

• Leading process improvement initiatives from identification to implementation

• Developing and leading a team to support process improvement activities

• Enhancing systems through best practices and automation

• Benchmarking and reviewing processes to ensure best practices are implemented

• Monitoring and evaluating costs, presenting findings to senior management

• Overseeing business processes related to data maintenance, documentation management, and external steel inventories

• Designing and distributing reports to support external logistics and processing requirements
