HSM Reliability PDM Specialist
Responsibilities:
-
Analyze production disturbances and troubleshoot unscheduled maintenance issues in collaboration with maintenance and production teams.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designated mechanical equipment.

Lead lean manufacturing initiatives.
-
Research, develop, and coordinate Work Orders to completion, ensuring parts availability, refurbishing follow-up, and supporting management with dayshift Asset Mechanics and budget tracking.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

ISO Category 2 Vibration Analyst certification with a minimum of three years of practical experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting machinery vibration data.

Ability to produce technical reports with recommendations for corrective actions and repairs based on vibration analysis.

Provide technical guidance and support for the operation, integrity, and maintenance activities of key Rotating Equipment.

Proficiency in troubleshooting various types of industrial equipment including pumps, hydraulic systems, lubrication systems, rotating equipment, and cooling systems.

Strong decision-making, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and visualization skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Emerson vibration analysis software.

Thermography Level 1 certification.

Ultrasound Technologies Level 1 certification.
-
5+ years of maintenance or project engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment.

Working knowledge of SAP and maintenance data trending software (IBA).

Accurately estimate resources and duration of mechanical equipment repairs to support outage planning and unprecedented activities.
Duties:
-
Collect route-based vibration data and analyze it to identify concerns.
-
Produce detailed vibration analysis reports with corrective action recommendations.
-
Maintain remote and continuous vibration hardware.
-
Enter Notifications for corrective actions in SAP.
-
Support scheduling, planning, and execution of short and long-term Predictive Maintenance activities.
Work Environment:
-
Office and Industrial setting in Calvert, AL.
-
Monday to Friday with extended hours as needed for peak workloads.
-
General working hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-min lunch break.
-
Outages and Pitstops (typically twice per month) expected at 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM for 1 to 2 days.
-
Semi-Annual Outages (typically twice per year) expected to be 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM for at least 6 consecutive days, potentially including weekends.
