Major Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Get line(s) started 7:30AM

Ensure company procedure and work instructions are being followed
-
Able to perform line inspections and distinguish non-conformance from acceptable product
-
Responsible for ensuring quality of Product produced with each Production Work Order (PWO). This includes but is not limited to accurate carton quantities, proper labeling, correct content and verification that the shelf life material falls within company standards for expirable products

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the production output rates
-
Provide training to support activities performed on the production line
-
Evaluate and make personnel changes to maintain efficiency of line operations
-
Able to perform all responsibilities/duties of an assembler
-
Maintain lot traceability and perform line count reconciliations for a component lot change.

Manage the transition of one PWO to the next PWO on the line
-
Assist the PA in new product document set-up and revision.

Communicate and effectively deliver in the English language all work instructions and manufacturing information to employees.

Keep to the schedule and keep track of employee attendance

Evaluate the productivity and efficiency of the department and provide recommendations in all areas

Able to perform basic arithmetic calculations

Honest, responsible and good interpersonal skills

Basic supervision skills
Requirements:
-
Education: High school level
-
Experience: Minimum 1 year as assembler or similar
-
Skills: Well organized, ability to take charge and possess leadership skills

Competency: Good comprehension and use of the English language, basic reading, writing and arithmetic

Physical Demands: Sit up to 8 hours on a regular basis and able to lift 10 pounds on a regular basis, 25 pounds on an occasional basis, 50 pounds on rare occasions
