Job Title: Warehouse Clerk

Location: Mobile Alabama
Pay Rate: $17/hr+ DOE

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate labeling of inventory materials with part and serial numbers.

• Record and track inventory part/serial numbers for effective inventory control.

• Conduct physical materials checkouts to verify materials and ensure proper inventory procedures.

• Receive, count, and verify materials delivered to the warehouse.

• Ensure that all received materials are undamaged and match the delivery documentation.

• Review and organize physical inventory to maintain accuracy and availability.

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to track and manage inventory levels.

• Assist with organizing the physical inventory to ensure smooth operations and efficient storage.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and office areas.

• Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

• Support additional warehouse and inventory-related tasks as needed.

Inventory Control Clerk 1 Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education preferred

• This is an entry-level position; previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of part/serial number tracking and labeling systems is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to perform physical inventory counts and manage inventory records.

• Proficient in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel or inventory software.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.

• Includes lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and handling materials regularly.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
