1st Shift Polishers Needed Immediately for Rockford Manufacturer!
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm w/Overtime on Fridays from 6am-4:30pm
Pay Range: $18/hr-$22/hr (pay based on experience)
Job Summary:
Perform duties to grind and polish weldments to sanitary standards in pharmaceutical
applications.
Responsibilities:
• Grind, Polish, Clean and Buff stainless steel metal parts according to drawing
specifications
• Exert care to maintain flatness, radii, contours and dimensions per print
• Obtain even finish appearance on stainless steel parts of:
Grained #4
Mirror #8
DA Orbital
• Review drawings and work orders to plan/follow operation sequences and equipment to
ensure proper finish
• Operate relevant hand tools to perform duties. Including but not limited to hand grinders,
dynafile, die grinder, buffing wheels, and sanders.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure finished to specified requirements
• Package finish parts for additional operations or shipment to customers
• Perform other related duties as assigned
