Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanic Opportunity!

We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Mechanic opportunity at a manufacturing company in Machesney Park. This is a direct hire position with starting pay of $30.84+/hour.

Job Duties:

• Performs preventative maintenance and repair work to maintain and enhance buildings, facilities, machines and equipment

• Organizes and determines repair and maintenance procedures and priorities

• Contributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs

• Works independently with minimal guidance in a team environment

• Maintain safe work environment and effective use of lock out/tag out programs

• Performs /coordinates rigging, moving and erecting for new installations

• Dismantles and reassembles complex machines

• Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and replacement of circuit boards, monitors, controls, motors, etc

• Trains and mentors less experienced team members

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED

• Completion of State Indentured Apprenticeship or 2-Year Tech College degree in Machine Tool Repair or equivalent (preferred)

• Machine repair experience

• Reads, understands and follows blueprints, schematics, engineering specs

• Use of advanced mathematics

• Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hrs per day

• Lift 40 pounds
