Job Overview:

MEMCO is seeking a Construction Manager leading the Scaffolding division for a renowned construction company in Atlanta. The Construction Manager is responsible for leading all erection and dismantle (E/D) operations related to scaffolding and access solutions. This role oversees multiple crews across various job sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA regulations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Erection & Dismantle department, including multiple scaffold crews
  • Meet and exceed all experience and performance expectations associated with Superintendent-level roles and below
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on large or complex projects
  • Recruit, hire, coach, train, and mentor scaffold labor crews
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple active job sites
  • Schedule labor crews for current and future work
  • Supervise and assist with the erection and dismantling of various scaffold and access systems
  • Coordinate timely deliveries and pick-ups for scaffold materials
  • Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation, including: Job signoffs, Extra work authorizations, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Site-specific safety plans, Delivery and pick-up tickets, etc.
  • Maintain working knowledge of business operations, market conditions, and customer expectations
  • Enforce all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and best practices related to scaffold systems and job site safety
  • Oversee proper execution and administration of the Foreman Training Program
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • College degree or trade school preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 7 years of scaffolding experience or in a related construction or industrial field
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and OSHA regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and job sites
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Scaffold Competent Person Certified
