This is a direct hire opportunity as follows:

 

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration of compensation, incentive and pension processes in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines. Performs job analysis in accordance with compensation program guidelines and maintains job description database. Prepares special management reports and employment statistics for compensation and pension. Responds to personnel inquiries and assists internal and external customers and pension issues.

 

This position reports directly to our Compensation & Benefits Manager. This is an exempt, non-supervisory position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serves as liaison between company and plan record keepers, trustees, providers and auditors. Performs semi-annual discrimination testing as required. Analyzes employee data and oversees system processing for all pension and compensation table transactions on the Human Resources Information System. Maintains system documentation, ensures data integrity.

Performs job analysis to evaluate skills, knowledge and abilities requirements for internal jobs. Prepares and maintains all job descriptions, job evaluation and wage and salary pay structures on computer systems. Assists in development of new compensation structures and administration of company incentive program. Compiles information for internal compensation and benefits survey development and participates in compensation and benefits surveys conducted by other organizations. Creates and maintains updated job descriptions in job description database.

Performs weekly benefits processing according to payroll schedule, identifies and resolves issues and problems.

Administers company variable compensation program, including developing plan tables, performing incentive calculations and audit incentive calculations.

Creates and maintains special reports such as monthly headcount as required

Verifies and recommends approval of all pension or welfare plan administrative expenses and distributions.

Consults with and advises employees on their eligibility and utilization of guidelines where applicable. Assist employees and related questions.

Assists with development and maintenance of benefits program administrative manuals, records and human resources benefit database, and other documents necessary for implementing benefit programs in compliance with ERISA laws, plan documents, and company policy.

Assists in development of performance management documents and performs periodic audit of performance management process to ensure compliance with performance management guidelines

Keeps abreast of new and emerging compensation and benefit trends, creative solutions and legislative changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.

Minimum of five years general human resources experience or benefit administration and analysis.

Strong proficiency with Excel

Valid Local Driver's License and valid Passport.

Ability to travel 5% to various locations to communicate benefit changes and conduct job analysis.

Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
