Sales Rep (Jackson/Flowood area)

 

Please note this level of sales is geared towards a candidate in the 2-5 year range.

 

Primary Duties and responsibilities:

 

Specific job duties will involve prospecting for new business opportunities first while also upgrading existing customers assigned to you. You will be required to achieve revenue goals by setting appointments and meeting with account’s decision makers, understanding their corporate goals, implementing creative sales strategies based on customer need analysis and site surveys that identify challenges relative to their document workflows. You will be responsible for customizing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.

•Identifies revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.

•Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established trading partners.

•Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.

•Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.

•Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.

•Works closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development.

•Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.

•Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.

•Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the B2B infrastructure and e-commerce industries.

•Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

Qualifications and required skills:

 

The ideal candidate is looking for a challenging career building relationships and providing creative technical solutions for common business concerns. You must be motivated and an ambitious self-starter with a great work ethic and a desire to be the best.

 

Your Qualifications must include a bachelor degree or equivalent experience of recent business to business outside sales experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to build quick relationships are vital to your success at Dex Imaging as well as basic mathematical skills. You must be proficient with Microsoft office products as well as Power Point, Excel, and Word.

 

Additional Specialized Responsibilities

•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Order processing systems and Contact Management systems.

•Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected

•Completes additional tasks and assignments as requested by Regional Sales Director.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m.

 

Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
