Maintenance Mechanic

Rate: $33-36.50/hr

Direct opportunity

Hours: M-F (crew rotate through to work one weekend per month-weekend schedule is 12 hours 6am-6:30pm and 6:30pm-6am)

2^nd Shift (3:30pm-12am)

3^rd Shift (10pm-6:30am)

1^st Shift (6 months training-7:30am-4pm)

Cincinnati, OH 

Responsibilities:

- Perform skilled labor in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, inspection routines, pipe fitting, welding, machine repair, electrical, process improvement, and building maintenance. 

- Participate in ongoing PM improvement.

- Participate in equipment walk through inspections.

- Assist in the training fellow team members.

- Maintain a high-quality work standard.

- Act as a member of the spill response team.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED is required (completion of industrial maintenance program preferred).

- A minimum of 6 months maintenance work experience required.

- Must meet the minimum requirements of the Apprentice Maintenance Test.

- Ability to perform work in electrical maintenance and power distribution, pipefitting, welding, mechanical machine repair and building maintenance.

- Skilled in working from blueprints, schematics, and sketches.

- Capable of heavy physical labor.

- Must be able to wear a respirator.
