Warehouse Material Handler

Rate: $20/hr-22/hr with solid chemical experience

Hours: 5am-1:30pm with overtime

Responsibilities:

- Works from production schedules using completed pick list to stage raw materials for production.              

- Prepares unused raw materials for return to main warehouse.  

- Executes all transactions in a timely manner. 

- Maintains accurate inventory records for warehouse and cold box including bar-coding and scanning of products.      

- Complies with all FDA and GMP requirements and follows GMPs.  

- Exercises constant care to prevent injuries to self and co-workers.               

- Requires evaluation of raw materials in warehouses as well as production areas to be 

certain they are high quality (free of contamination and fresh). Submit questionable raw materials to QC.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand 6-8+ hours per day; bend or twist at the neck and waist; repetitively use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach, power grasp (up to 3 hours per day), and/or pull with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. 

- Frequently required to walk (3-6 hours per day); climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

- Must regularly lift to 50lbs (22.6 kgs) without assistance and move up to 600lbs (272 kgs) drums using appropriate equipment, e.g., power floor jack, drum dolly, and/or forklift.  

Requirements:

- Must be able to go in out of cooler environment

- Must have forklift license or pass a written and driving test to obtain certification  

- Must be able to operate a forklift truck (sit-down, standup) 

- Experience wrapping pallets

- Experience loading and unloading trailers 

- Experience prepping orders to be shipped

- Familiar with basic warehousing procedures

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision  

- Lift to 50lbs with assistance  

- Basic math and good writing skills required
