We are seeking Level 2 Desktop Support professionals for a 6-month assignment beginning in June.

Job Description:

  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains desktop and workstation equipment and software including telephones (std & VOIP), desktop/laptop computers (WIN7, WIN10, MAC OS), and printers.

  • Handles equipment moves with little or no supervision.

  • Able to identify, analyze and resolve basic troubleshooting items but defers to supervisor or Level 1 tech for more complex hardware issues.

  • Able to answer basic user questions about equipment features.

  • Has basic knowledge of the organization's equipment and associated software and services.

  • Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

  • Possess manufacturer certifications and is certified to perform in warranty repairs and order parts.??????

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of endorser hardware and software, including desktop and laptop systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, macOS), printers, and telephony systems (standard and VoIP)

  • Demonstrated ability to perform independent equipment moves and workstation setups with a high degree of accuracy and minimal oversight.

  • Skilled in identifying and resolving routine technical issues efficiently, with sound judgment in escalating more complex matters to senior technical staff when appropriate.

  • Adept at providing user support by clearly communicating equipment functionality and resolving common endorser inquiries.

  • Possesses foundational knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including standard desktop configurations, organizational software suites, and peripheral device management.

  • experience contributing to technical projects and support initiatives of limited scope, while adhering to established best practices and timelines.

  • Holds current manufacturer certifications and is authorized to perform in-warranty hardware repairs, including the ordering and replacement of certified components.
