Field Service Technician II - Contract to Hire

Requirements: 

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant IT or field service experience preferred, though training will be provided for qualified candidates with less experience.

• Run cases from home

• Hands-on hardware repair experience and familiarity with restaurant technology systems.

• Willing and able to travel to multiple locations within the Denver metro area.

• Certifications or education: A+ certification is preferred. Experience or certification with Lexmark, HP, Dell, or Lenovo hardware is a plus, as is hands-on experience with laser printer break-fix and equipment installations.

• Completion of Chick-fil-A technical training and certification is required once hired to support this account.

• Miles per day driving: Mileage will vary daily depending on the assigned Chick-fil-A locations, with some days involving longer distances. All mileage driven for work purposes will be reimbursed.

• Must be located within the Denver Metro area

• Candidate review and interviews will begin immediately once applications are received, with the goal of moving qualified candidates through the process as quickly as possible.

• Successfully complete Chick-fil-A technical training and certification.

• Strong customer service skills and professionalism, in addition to technical expertise.

Scope:

• Provide on-site technical support for network and wireless infrastructure, access points, Intel NUC computers, kitchen display systems that track and manage incoming orders, and digital boards that display order status for customers, including mobile pickup areas [Drive Thru].

• Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, performing break-fix and IMAC work, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining compliance with client SLAs within a 4–6-hour window.

• The role involves extensive driving to multiple CFA locations, efficient route planning, and adaptability to changing schedules.

• Some remote work will include training and administrative tasks.

• Training will be provided upon hire, and technicians must successfully complete and pass the Chick-fil-A certification exam to be qualified to support this account.
