Requirements:

  • Experience: 1.5 yrs
  • Certification or Education: .A+ (able to obtain within first 6 weeks of employment) and Dell/Mac certs nice to have 
  • TOP 3 required skills: Field Tech experience, client facing/executive customer service and good communication skills. Hardware break-fix, installing, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of site. Warranty Dell support. Mac exprience is a plus. 
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products.
  • Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge.
  • Personable, relatable and responsible when interacting with ALL customers.
  • Driving Required – YES, will travel between multiple locations during week. 
  • How many miles per day: Less than 10 – all 3 client sites are very close and all within 87505. 
  • Tech radius range: Commutable distance to 87505, no more than 1 hr away. 
  • How soon will candidate review and interviews start? ASAP


Scope:

  • Primary day-to-day responsibilities: Troubleshooting Dell laptop/desktop PCs. Working with end-users to resolve issues. Providing updates to management as needed. 
  • You will be responsible for interacting and servicing our clients with any technical problem they are experiencing. Be helpful, relatable, and pleasant while diagnosing and fixing their problems.
  • Solve a broad range of day-to-day onsite technical issues on network infrastructure and internal desktop systems.
  • Be helpful and understanding - provide the support you would want!
  • Customize the customer experience for every individual?all communication, instructions, and product knowledge to the level of the individual.
  • Determine the most cost effective repair to minimize customer downtime.
  • Be proactive! Prepare reports for analysis of product failure trends and service issues.
