- On call: Every other week 24/7 on-call
- Candidates should be located within 30 miles of 24029
- Supporting Roanoke, VA and surrounding area - Lynchburg, Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Salem, Forest
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Candidate review and interviews start: Dec 1st.
Scope:
- Run cases from home
- Primary day-to-day responsibilities: Daily travel to customer sites to repair printers (primarily Fujifilm and Lexmark), replace workstations, troubleshoot networks, work on POS equipment.
- Miles per day driving: 50-150 miles• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
