Performance Personnel is recruiting for long term Installer opportunities in Orlando.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Level I: Hourly Rate of $15.00 - $18.00
Adhere to Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures, as well as safety codes and regulations.
Utilize industry-standard hand tools and equipment for installation and maintenance.
Read and comprehend written procedures relevant to job duties.
Familiarity with common carpentry hand tools, power tools, and their applications.
Assist in operating and maintaining air compressors, power tools, and hand tools.
Assist in handling and installing show set components in the shop and field.
Help with material handling, equipment movement, jobsite clean-up, and utility tasks.
Level II: Hourly Rate of $17.00 - $22.00
Perform all tasks from Level I with proficiency.
Read blueprints/sketches to determine component installation locations and methodologies.
Knowledge of rigging equipment used for connecting and securing loads to lifting devices.
Assist in rigging operations and preparing loads for movement.
Inspect rigging equipment for safety and cleanliness, and store it properly after use.
Level III: Hourly Rate of $20.00 - $30.00
Perform all tasks from Level II with expertise.
Experience in FRP, Carpentry, and Metals.
Apply lath and/or backing using hand/power tools and fasteners.
Assist with rigging and staging operations.
Coordinate with team members during loading and moving of goods.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills and Attributes:
Requirements:
Minimum of one-year experience in field installation.
Good knowledge of materials, tools, equipment, and machinery used in the industry.
Friendly and professional communication with customers, team members, and management.
Ability to read and understand written procedures relevant to job duties.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Initiative and task prioritization.
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
Level II: Additional Requirements
Minimum of three years of experience in field installation.
Ability to review and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Mechanical aptitude.
Level III: Additional Requirements
Minimum of five years of experience in field installation.
Advanced knowledge of blueprint layout and architectural specifications.
Ability to read blueprints and design documents.
Excellent spatial awareness and communication skills.
Meticulous attention to construction and safety on the job site.
Qualified Rigger certification preferred.
Working Conditions/Schedule:
Field position with hours determined by the Superintendent based on project needs and daylight hours.
Changing work environments requiring consistent awareness of surroundings and potential hazards.
May work under extreme environmental conditions and at heights using high-reach equipment or scaffolding.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance or lifting devices, perform prolonged walking, standing, hearing, and seeing.
Physical abilities include dragging, pulling, lifting, pushing, bending, kneeling, climbing, overhead work, torque, and repetitive motions.
Must have agility, a good sense of balance, and be willing to work at heights.
