Hourly Rate of $18.00+ depending on Level of experience
Level I:
Responsible for adhering to all Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures as well as all Federal, State, and local safety codes and regulations.
Novice skills to shape/bend and secure/tie steel bar in order to reinforce concrete with use of a variety of fasteners, rod-bending and cutting tools, and various hand tools.
Cutting rebar or wire mesh using bar cutters and cutting wheels
Assists in all aspects involved in the reproduction from blueprints and design documents of armature and other construction structures required.
Assists in the operation and maintenance of concrete pumps, plaster pumps and air compressors and various power and hand tools.
Has experience in various fabricated items, installation, and welding techniques (arc and mig)
Operate and maintain concrete pumps, plaster pumps, forklifts, and air compressors.
Level II:
Proficient skills to shape/bend and secure/tie steel bar in order to reinforce concrete with use of a variety of fasteners, rod-bending and cutting tools, and various hand tools.
Applying lath and/or backing using fasteners and hand/power tools.
Reading blueprints/sketches to determine positions of reinforcing members.
Shakeout, handle, assist-rigging, and set chip into place per installation drawings.
Assist with the rigging operations with preparing the loads to be moved.
Inspect the rigging equipment to ensure it is safe and undamaged and cleaning, dismantling, and storing the rigging equipment after every use
Good knowledge of rigging equipment used to connect and secure the load to a lifting device (wire rope slings, chain slings, eyebolts, U-bolts, and other attachments).
Level III: H
Expert skills to shape/bend and secure/tie steel bar in order to reinforce concrete with use of a variety of fasteners, rod-bending and cutting tools, and various hand tools.
Applying lath and/or backing using fasteners and hand/power tools.
Shakeout, handle, rigging, and set chip into place per installation drawings.
Qualified Rigger responsible to make sure that the machinery is aligned, levelled, and anchored, selection of the right pulleys, booms, braces, and cables for various jobs, assess the risks associated with lifting and moving heavy equipment through confined spaces.
Coordinating with the other team members when loading and moving goods

Qualifications / Experience / Skills and Attributes
Requirements:
Minimum of one-year experience as a rockworker in the artificial theming industry
Good knowledge of the materials, tools, equipment, and machinery that are used in the industry is preferred. Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all customers, team members and management.
Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Level II: Additional Requirements
Minimum of three-years’ experience as a rockworker in the artificial theming industry
Ability to review and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Level III: Additional Requirements
Minimum of five-years’ experience as a rockworker in the artificial theming industry
Advanced knowledge of blue print layout and architectural specifications with the ability to reads blue prints and other design documents
Qualified Rigger possessing a recognized degree/certificate/professional standing, or has extensive knowledge/training/experience, and can successfully demonstrate the ability to solve problems related to rigging loads.
Excellent spatial awareness, and good communication skills.
Meticulous with construction and always aware of safety on the construction site
Working Conditions / Schedule
While performing the duties of this job, this is an in-field position and hours will be determined by the Superintendent (based on daylight hours and project needs).
Work environment will change often and will require consistent awareness of surroundings and potential dangers to themselves and others.
May be required to work under extreme environmental conditions and work from excessive heights with high reach equipment and/or scaffolding elevations.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance from others or lifting devices from floor to waist and waist to floor.
Ability to walk, stand, hear, see in order to reasonably perform essential job functions.
Abilities include drag, pull, lift, push, bend, kneel, climb, overhead work, torque, and other repetitive motions.
Must have agility and a good sense of balance, willing to work in high places.
