Performance Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic for our client located in Orlando. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, including loaders, forklifts, tractor-trailers and cranes. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and ability to perform various repairs will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
Primary Duties:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, such as brake repairs, engine malfunctions, and electrical problems

Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards

Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, assemble, and align vehicle components

Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

5 years of experience

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Experience with tire service, including installation, rotation, and repair

Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage

Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions

Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
