Performance Personnel seeks a production supervisor in Wichita KS.

Primary Job Duties:

• Directs and coordinates activities of assigned departments to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel to produce a quality product.
• Determines schedules and assignments for work activities based on work priority, availability, and skill level.
• Continuously looks for process and efficiency improvements and develops solid plan for implementation.
• Recommends changes in staffing such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges or disciplinary measures.
• Responsible for work areas, tools, and equipment and providing employee training to enable employees to perform at client standards of quality and productivity.
• Collaborates with other management to coordinate work activities to identify and review resource needs for projects.
• Utilizes lean manufacturing concepts, preventative maintenance plans and training of personnel to meet production targets and established quality objectives.
• Enforces compliance of operations personnel to client policies and procedures by ensuring that processes are performed to the specification and in the most efficient manner to ensure safety of the employees, product reliability and company profitability.
• Analyzes situations that arise in processing and develops solutions to alleviate future issues.
• Adheres to company protocol for quality, on-time delivery, and safety.
• Interacts professionally with co-workers and vendors; understands internal customers; and strives to maintain good relations with others.
• May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by business demands.

Skills/Requirements:

• Must be able to work the 3rd shift.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Read, write, and comprehend American English.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints required
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Ability to differentiate between processing requirements.
• Ability to ask questions and perform a commonsense test before processing each order.
