Performance Personnel seeks a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment located in El Dorado, KS.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all products.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by accurately checking in products and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of forklifts, including order pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and cranes.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) as required by the job duties.
• A valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
• 1 year of assembly experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license!
• A high school diploma is required.
