Position Type: Temp to Hire

Pay: $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

 

 

Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Administrative Assistants for a warehouse located in Forest Park!

 

Qualifications for Administrative Assistants:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Strong data management and document creation skills.

  • Experience with project research and presentation preparation.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

  • Familiar with calendar management, scheduling, and travel coordination.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Experience with vendor coordination and invoice review.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Logistics or 3PL experience is a plus.

  • Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

 

Assignment Duties for Administrative Assistants:

  • Contact clients, vendors, and stakeholders as necessary.

  • Obtain quotes for supplies or services.

  • Review data sheets for accuracy and completeness.

  • Verify correctness of information entered into the system.

  • Update and maintain client, vendor, and inventory data in the system.

  • Collaborate with other administrative assistants to update equipment inventories.

  • Maintain records of equipment and supplies for each location.

  • Ensure proper organization and accessibility of inventory.

  • Conduct research for various projects.

  • Compile research findings and create presentation materials.

  • Assist in preparing project proposals and reports for leadership.

  • assist the executive assistant with tasks as needed.

  • Provide administrative support as required.

  • Help with calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.

  • Aid in building maintenance, including tracking damages.

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for maintenance and damages.

  • Assist in coordinating with maintenance vendors when necessary.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 8:00AM-5:00PM

 

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
