Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Extrusion Operator for a warehouse located in Canton!

Qualifications for Extrusion Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 12 months of manufacturing operator experience is preferred.

• Experience with extruding LVT/LVP or SPC products required.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Basic math skills for calculations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. and performs physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Flexibility to work evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Comfortable working in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Extrusion Operators:

• Operate equipment including extruder, calendar roller, and vacuum pump.

• Adjust settings for startup and production runs.

• Monitor and adjust material thickness and quality specifications.

• Safely thread material through machinery.

• Apply wear layer and print to slab material accurately.

• Troubleshoot and address visual defects.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

• Monitor ingredient levels and equipment operation.

• Perform quality checks and record data.

• Assist with stacking finished products and managing scraps.

Shift Details: Monday-Thursday – 7:00PM-7:00AM

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
