Assignment Details: • ASAP – Ongoing • Reason for need: Gaps in schedule • 8,600 annual volume/17 patients per day • ACLS, ATLS & PALS required unless EM Boarded • Prior ED experience required • EMR is Meditech • ED Physicians write admit orders • 12 and 24 hour shifts, 7-7 • On call room available to physician while providing weekend coverage • Average inpatient volume is 8 per day with an additional 8 swing bed volume • Three full time Family Practice physicians • There is a general surgeon with practices in town • All specialties are represented on the medical staff via clinics but not consistently available for consults as most are there once a week or less. • No OB or ICU but they do have an Intensive Observation Unit with one-on-one monitoring
