Summary
Seeking a motivated, self-directed Opportunity Development Representative (ODR) with a history of over achievement creating leads and selling technical products. The ideal candidate has a strong will to compete and win with confidence and ambition. This person must be able to manage all stages of the sales cycle, working closely with prospects, channel partners and the Inside and Field sales teams. Fluent with CRM systems and comfortable working with and tracking key sales metrics, the ODR is a key player and important contributor to the overall success of the Networks sales team. This position will be based at Sunnyvale, California headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed activity targets and lead generation goals
Perform outbound calls to target prospect accounts; minimum expectation is 60-80 outbound dials/day
Develop inbound leads from various sources and qualify for business potential
Contact prospects via phone call, email and seminars to communicate opportunities and extend initiatives
Deliver professional sales presentations via phone and web technologies
Collaborate with sales, channel partners and marketing to facilitate new programs, messages and offerings
Ensure handoffs to sales are successful and exceed customer's expectation
Ensure reporting and communication is frequent and bi-directional
Accurately forecast and track sales activities using NetSuite
Qualifications:
Proven success building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers
Work experience at minimum of two years Lead Gen, Inside Sales or Sales Support experience, ideally with WLAN or network infrastructure or a network security company
Prefer technical selling experience with understanding of networking and IP technology solutions
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical concepts
Familiar with and fluent using NetSuite and Microsoft Office
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
BS/BA in a technical or business discipline is preferred
