Tour Manager Needed ASAP!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Tour Manager, providing high quality practices, standards and leadership during the duration of the tour. Ensure a quality execution of the overall consumer experience at all times
  • Ensure all part time field staff and program entertainment delivers a quality overall interaction with all consumers
  • Brand/Consumer Management: Responsible for knowing all key communication about the Brand and ensuring that all BA's are properly communicating the key messaging to consumers
  • DOT FMCSA reporting requirements
  • Reporting/Key Performance Indicators
  • Conduct the on-site survey with the Tour Manager upon arrival at the event location to ensure the correct placement of all footprint assets
  • Responsible for the overall safety of the activation footprint and the associated compliance with the applicable Federal, State and local regulatory laws
  • Conducting onsite safety briefings prior to the set-up and break down of the footprint elements
  • Liaison with local event, fire and safety officials
  • Overseeing and managing the set-up, onsite maintenance and breakdown of the event footprint elements
  • Daily and event inventory of the premiums, uniforms and event collateral
  • Ensure the overall event Quality Assurance
  • Troubleshoot technical elements including electrical, HVAC, audio/visual, staging, lighting, power and theatrical production
  • Set up and breakdown technical event elements (8-10 hour process)
  • Manage the overall execution of event elements including green screen, and virtual simulator technology
  • Interact heavily with target audience
  • Provide detailed and consistent documentation of equipment status
  • Communicate daily with the Senior Producer regarding the status of the various equipment, inventory, and vehicles
  • Be responsible for the technological elements to ensure safe and correct usage by staff and consumers alike
  • Drive a chase vehicle (possibly a pick-up truck) including a 53ft tractor & trailer

Required Skills

  • Electrical experience A MUST
  • Audio/visual and theatrical experience A MUST
  • Mechanical staging and lighting experience A MUST
  • Promotional experience and/or sales experience A MUST
  • Experience with wi-fi technology A MUST
  • Knowledge of stage lighting, sound and power
  • Prior experience working with green screen, virtual simulator technology
  • In-depth knowledge of driving a large vehicle including weigh station protocols
  • Pass physical and drug tests
  • Outgoing, friendly, responsible and self-motivated
  • Excited to speak and demonstrate product to consumers of all ages
  • CLASS B CDL – a PLUS
  • MUST BE available to work for the entire program without conflicts
  • Must have a passport or able to obtain one
