Diesel Mechanic- Direct Hire Opportunity!
Excellent 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in Winnebago County for experienced diesel mechanics. These direct hire positions will offer you room for growth and advancement, while working in a great team environment.
Position – Diesel Mechanic
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Direct hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Starting Pay – dependent on experience, $18-$30 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs, as well as completing preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostics on vehicles
- Utilizing tools including calipers, pressure gauges, and welding equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, computers, batteries and engines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or relevant industry experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good mechanical aptitude is a must!
