Job Title: CNC Setup

Job Summary: Would you like to be part of a team of skilled machinists in a job shop environment? One where you would be doing one off parts and setups? In this role, we are looking for someone with Setup, Editing, and some conversational programming back ground, for a Setup role in Northern Milwaukee. The ideal candidate for this role would be a higher experienced individual, with the ability to tram in, and touch off tooling, solo. Someone who is able to prove out a program and machine a variety of parts, from large to small. Most of the work done here is one off or limited quantity production. If you are the kind of individual who likes a tight knit team environment, good pay, and a challenge, then this is the place for you!
Responsibilities:
- Setting up open table, using parallels, sign bars, and various other fastening methods to set up parts.
- Proving out programs and editing.
- Conversational programming ability on Fanuc interface is a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read prints, Edit programs, and do Setups open table, without fixtures.
- Ability to touch off tooling, check tool wear, and work within tight tolerances.
- Ability to program conversational when needed on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
