Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Blanchard Grinder or Surface Grinder for a 1st shift schedule in Northern Milwaukee. In this role, the individual would be running one of several Blanchard Grinding Cells or a Surface Grinder to ,machine parts to tight tolerance. Experience with Large Blanchard is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Surface Grinding with large scale Wet Grinders, and or Blanchard Grinders .Strong attention to safety, and work station cleanliness is vital.
- Setting up parts to be run, and indicating one off parts to be ground to size.
- Checking all ground parts for conformance to exacting specifications, and coating parts to insure corrosion resistance.
Qualifications
- 5 years or more of experience in the field is preferred, but open to lesser seasoned, but more skilled applicants.
- Be able to accurately read calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, and other precision measuring tools to run quality control checks in accordance to print.
- Experience using horizontal or vertical spindles and single or double disc grinders preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to complete projects from a blue print as many of the projects are 1 off items.
