Position - Auto Mechanic
Job Location - Greenville, WI
Starting Date - When finding the right candidate
Employment Term - Regular, Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type - Full-Time
Work Hours - Great working hours, Monday-Friday (consistent 40-45 hour per week schedule) Can start between 8 and 10am
Starting Pay - Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($25-$30 p/hr)

Required Education - HSED or equivalent
Required Experience - Mechanical and technical experience working on vehicles.
Seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service department! We seek individuals who enjoy identifying vehicle issues and problem solving, as well as inspecting and repairing vehicles. We look for team players who care about the quality of their work, as well as a highly-trained and organized professional who takes pride in their work. We employ three to five auto technicians at any given time, so we are looking for someone who can be flexible with their schedule and willing to work overtime when needed. The technician is an individual contributor to the team and operates under the general direction of the Service Manager and General Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
Performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards
Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to customers
Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
Inspecting and testing new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
Qualified candidates will possess:
High School Diploma/GED
Excellent mechanical and technical abilities
Must have automotive repair experience
A robust tool box
Current valid state driver's license
Knowledge of the latest technological advances in the automotive repair industry
Previous dealership experience preferred
ASE certifications preferred
Strong automotive background
Strong teamwork skills
Must have most of their own tools.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust
Must be able to see, hear, lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies
Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
