Position – Rotary Die Maker

Job Location – Neenah, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to Hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st shift

Starting Pay – $18

Required Experience – Prior machine operator experience is needed

As a Steel Rule Rotary Die Maker, you will play a vital role in the creation of rotary dies used in the production of packaging for a wide range of industries. Your keen eye for detail and mastery of die-making techniques will directly contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Precisely interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications to determine die layouts and requirements.
• Expertly bend, notch, and assemble steel rule to create sharp and accurate cutting and creasing components for rotary dies.
• Utilize specialized machinery and hand tools with proficiency, including rotary die benders, notchers, grinders, and laser cutting systems (experience preferred).
• Mount and secure steel rule within die boards, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
• Perform quality checks on finished dies to guarantee they meet stringent accuracy and functionality standards.

Qualifications 

• Prior experience as a rotary maker is helpful but not required
• Prior machine operation experience is required
• Exceptional ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
