Plate Production
Position - Flexo Press Plate Production Job Location - Appleton, WI Starting Date - Immediate Employment Term - Regular, Temp to hire Employment Type - Full-Time Work Hours - 2nd shift position (12 noon to 8:30pm) but training on 1st 7am - 3:30 for the first few months Starting Pay - $18 starting wage - increase to $18.50 when hired on. Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education - HSED Required Experience - 6 months to one year related experience or training
Responsibilities Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediate level production of conventional and liquid Flexo plates which conform to set technical specification Prepare printing plates for mounting Mount printing plates in register as required to meet client’s specs Perform and record quality control checks Pack and dispatch plates to correct destination. Record all dispatch details. Run agreed routine calibration checks. Ensure optimum performance of equipment and quickly report any equipment breakdowns. Ensure that all time entries are accurate and up-to-date and all material usage is recorded.
Qualifications Education and certifications 6 months to one year related experience or training Experience in Graphics Arts industry (e.g. Design Studio/Agency environment) or related field in manufacturing (i.e. Printing, Pre Press) a plus
