POSITION – CNC Machinist II
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (4:30pm-3am, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – $23.51-$29.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

EDUCATION– HS Diploma or equivalent required, 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 2 years of experience working as a Machinist, including setups
As a CNC Machinist II, This role demands a strong knowledge of CNC operations, including the capability to handle complex setups, resolve technical issues, and maintain quality standards. Working closely with our production team, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our manufacturing processes. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, mechanically minded, and has strong attention to detail to help our company thrive!
Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery to manufacture parts, continuously monitoring operations and adjusting settings to ensure peak performance

Perform detailed quality checks using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm part specifications and tolerances

Adjust tooling, offsets, and programs as needed to meet production goals and conform to engineering requirements

Carry out routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement, while reporting any issues or needed repairs

Diagnose and resolve machining and quality issues, implementing corrective measures to maintain productivity and adherence to quality standards

Adhere to all safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment and keeping the workstation clean and orderly

Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, machine operation logs, and inspection results

Work closely with team members, CNC programmers, and engineers to improve processes and meet production objectives
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

Consistently produce high-quality parts that meet specified tolerances and technical requirements

Achieve production targets by meeting expected output levels with efficiency and accuracy

Understand and follow machining processes, including the flow and handling of finished components

Utilize computer systems and software as required for machine operation and documentation

Accurately use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

Complete all required documentation and production paperwork with accuracy and timeliness

Operate hand tools, machines, and equipment proficiently with minimal supervision

Collaborate effectively as a contributing member of a team to support overall production goals

Perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt quickly

Demonstrate initiative by identifying and completing tasks without direct supervision

Exhibit reliability through strong attendance and punctuality
