POSITION – Material Handler
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temporary, Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:15pm, Mon-Fri)
STARTING PAY – $18.50/hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Previous manufacturing experience required
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products, ensuring quality and accuracy, and preparing shipments for various carriers. Your role involves operating industrial forklifts and maintaining regular attendance to support the team's operations. You will need to work well as a team and also on your own. You need to be able to follow verbal instructions and work safely; always being aware of your surroundings.
Responsibilities:

Load products for customer pick-up and prepare shipments for various carriers.

Operate industrial forklifts to unload and load raw materials and products from trucks and trailers, ensuring material and count quality.

Adhere to quality procedures for accuracy, including random checks of orders.

Safely change LP tanks or recharge electric forklifts as needed.

Shrink-wrap units for shipping.

Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
One year of safe forklift operation required.
Use of hand tools, computer, tape measure, and utility knife is desired.
High school diploma or equivalence.
Understand verbal and written instructions.
Excellent work history and commitment to great attendance.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
