Position – Pre Press Technician
Job Location – Appleton, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift
Starting Pay – $18+
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
- What you will be doing:
Typeset and/or design jobs following the directives provided by files, hard copy samples, or work order instructions
- Output proofs
- Set up imposition schemes according to job specifications
- Output plates as directed for press room production
- Daily and routine maintenance of all prepress equipment
- Output jobs through digital printing devices
- Follow production schedule
- Maintain high customer and company standards

What you need for this position:
- Knowledge and background in production prepress for a commercial printer
- Imposition experience
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Must be detail oriented
- The ability to prioritize and organize large amounts of information
- Excellent communication skills
