Light Industrial Assignment to Hire

Position – Inspector

Job Location – Madison, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (7:00am – 4:00pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience $20-$24 per hour

Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 1 years of experience

 

Responsibilities

- Knows location of yard inventory

- Identifies and grades inbound scrap

- Identifies and rejects unacceptable items

- Directs customers in traffic flow and proper unloading area

- Completes inspection ticket and provides to customer

- Has customer sign appropriate material certificate

- Maintains good working relationship with customer

- May operate yard equipment as needed

- Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

- Prior experience in metals preferred.

- Must be able to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
