Position – Maintenance Tech
Job Location – Oshkosh, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift
Starting Pay – $27 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
Coordinate all plant maintenance functions, including repair, spare parts, trouble shooting, preventative, predictive, facilities and new equipment, all with a commitment to the company Value Proposition. This person shall possess strong electrical, controls or mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage spare parts inventory
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform hands on skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.
- [X] years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper, pulp, or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including motors, controls, and PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
