Position – Class A Liquid Painter

Job Location – Oconomowoc, WI

Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:30am – 5:00pm Mon-Thurs, Fri for OT)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $18 - $30 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation:

Cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion. 

• Material Mixing:

Accurately mixing paints, primers, and other coatings according to specifications. 

• Paint Application:

Applying paint using gravity fed guns.

• Equipment Maintenance:

Maintaining and cleaning painting equipment, including spray guns

• Safety Compliance:

Following safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Following Instructions:

Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand the scope of the job. 

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Experience with liquid spray painting techniques, material handling, and equipment operation. 

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that may involve standing for extended periods, lifting, and working in various positions. 

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in surface preparation, paint mixing, and application to achieve a high-quality finish. 

• Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to surface imperfections or application problems. 

• Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with supervisors and other team members. 

• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures. 

• Experience: Previous experience as a painter, especially with specialized coatings or equipment, is required.
