Maintenance Tech – Night Shift

Position – Maintenance Tech

Job Location – Eau Claire, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – Night Shift (Mon-Thu 5:45am-5:45pm)

Starting Pay – $25+/hour (Depnding om experience)

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED preferred

Required Experience – 18 -36 months of experience in industrial setting performing Maintenance

 

The Maintenance Person is responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining company machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. This includes tasks such as welding, lubricating, and adjusting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate equipment and interpret schematics to support efficient operations.

 

Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance tasks, including welding, lubrication, and mechanical adjustments on shredders, balers, shears, conveyors, and other equipment.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid drive systems.

- Install, align, and maintain machinery components such as bearings, belts, pumps, and piping systems.

- Operate power lift equipment and vehicles to transport materials, ensuring safe and proper rigging for lifts.

- Complete and maintain required documentation, adhere to safety protocols, and follow company policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications 

- 18 to 36 months of progressively responsible maintenance experience or equivalent education and training.

- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and blueprint reading.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with team members.
