Starting Pay – $95-98k Annual Salary

Required Education – Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing leadership.
Required Experience – Many years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for plastics and extrusion. Proven track record of managing teams, driving operational performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Superintendent to lead daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production performance, building a strong team culture, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with deep manufacturing expertise—especially in plastics or extrusion—who thrives on solving problems, mentoring teams, and delivering results. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring schedules, staffing, and workflow align for optimal output
- Use production data to identify trends and proactively address bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Build a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing consistent feedback, and recognizing achievements
- Coordinate across departments to keep materials, maintenance, and quality checks flowing without disruption
- Take ownership of plant safety—leading by example, enforcing standards, and promoting awareness
- Help shape the future of operations by contributing to long-term goals, budgets, and capital planning
- Guide new employee onboarding and skill development to maintain a strong, adaptable workforce
- Keep the floor organized and focused through regular communication, clear direction, and accountability
- Lead projects that reduce cost, eliminate waste, and improve reliability and output
- Act as a hands-on leader—present, engaged, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Many years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong background in plastic extrusion or similar high-volume production processes
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
- Experience with ISO standards and compliance
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on KPIs and operational performance
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable collaborating across departments to align goals and solve problems
- Proficient with production software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools
