Tool and Die Maker
Position – Tool and Die Maker
Job Location – New Berlin, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp to Hire and Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours and Shift – 1st Shift, 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $33 to $38 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience – 3 to 5 years of experience
Responsibilities
-Set-up and run Haas CNC lathe and mill, Bridgeport and prototrak mills, and other CNC Machinery
-Use CAD software (MasterCam) to program CNC from 3D model or hardcover print
-Use computer skills to create and improve documentation such as inspection sheets, manufacturing procedures, drawings, etc. (Word and Excel)
-Ensure finished product is the correct specifications by using micrometers, calipers, comparator, height gauges and gauge blocks
-Work with outside suppliers of waterjet, EDM, heat treat, electropolish, sheet metal fabrication, grinding, casting, coating, etc.
Qualifications
- 3 to5 years experience as Tool and Die maker, as well as CNC machining/programming
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and utilize blueprints
- Knowledge of and ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
- Exceptional attention to detail and positive attitude is MUST
