Position – Insulation Installer
Job Location – Fond du Lac, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift – hours will fluctuate
Starting Pay – $18 to $23 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience in construction is helpful
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Insulation Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and new construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain insulation on mechanical systems such as steam pipes, hot and cold water lines, air conditioning ducts, and boilers.
- Select and apply appropriate insulation materials, including fiberglass, mineral wool, elastomeric foam, and cellular glass, based on project specifications.
- Measure and cut insulation to fit complex shapes and surfaces.
- Seal joints and seams with appropriate adhesives, tapes, and jacketing to ensure a tight, secure fit.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in insulation installation or construction is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site/shop.
