Work in Metal Manufacturing as an Assembly Operator. Would you like a set schedule with 3-day weekends each week? Do you enjoy working with tools and your hands? We are presently interviewing for Assembly Operators to work in Chippewa Falls on 2nd Shift.

 

POSITION – Assembly Operator I

JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (Monday through Thursday, 4:15pm to 2:45am)

STARTING PAY – $17 per hour or more (Depends on Experience) plus 10% shift differential

BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonuses

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 year previous work in a manufacturing setting is desired but not required, prefer work in injection molding or other assembly

 

As an Assembly Operator you will assemble work-in-progress parts into finished products using various methods such as sonic welding, heat staking, and gluing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, label, mill, route, punch, sand, assemble, and package plastic parts.

  • Record production and scrap data on daily sheets, including labels, production tags, and hourly rate logs.

  • Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA standards.

  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or management.

 

Qualifications

  • No previous experience is necessary.

  • Basic communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Take and retain direction well.

  • Previous experience in injection molding or manufacturing assemblies is preferred but not required
