General Office Admin
Local Church is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Office Coordinator to join our team. This part-time role is integral to our operations, ensuring efficient and accurate office and clerical work while supporting community relations. Job Location – Green Bay, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Part-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift - Chose your own hours Starting at 15 hours per week
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $16-$17
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
Day-to-day Operations: Overseeing the general functioning of the church office, ensuring it is organized and well-maintained. This includes managing office supplies and equipment, and handling mail and general correspondence.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and confidential church records, including membership information, baptisms, marriages, deaths, and new members. This often involves using a church management software (ChMS) or database.
Scheduling and Calendaring: Managing the church's master calendar, coordinating meetings, events, and facility usage for various groups, both within and outside the church. This requires careful attention to avoid conflicts.
Administrative Support: Providing administrative assistance to the pastor, other paid staff, and various ministry committees. This can include preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and assisting with special projects.
Qualifications
Strong Organizational Skills: This is arguably the most important qualification. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Computer Proficiency: A good level of competence with standard office software is a must. This includes:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic Website & Social Media Skills: The ability to update a church's website and post on social media platforms is increasingly important.
